The Blow Dry Process

When it comes to your hair you shouldn’t settle for second best and neither do we! When you book a blow dry at our salon, the process goes like this:

Preparation: After washing and conditioning, the hair is usually towel-dried to remove excess water.

Heat Protection: A heat protectant product may be applied to the hair to shield it from heat damage.

Sectioning: Hair is often divided into sections to make the drying process more efficient and to ensure even heat distribution.

Drying and Styling: The blow dryer is used in conjunction with a brush to smooth and straighten the hair, add volume, or create curls or waves.

Cool Shot: Many blow dryers have a ‘cool shot’ feature which blasts cool air and is used to set the hair after styling and add shine.
